The gentle freeze drying process removes water to achieve an Aw (water activity) less than 0.2, a level that no pathogen can survive. Our milling process uses cryogenic milling equipment that keeps the product at very low temperatures to improve the product quality.
NXGEN is vertically integrated. We buy our own raw produce from selected farms and butchers, we do the freeze drying, milling and encapsulation. Coming from four generations of cattle farmers and beef producers, we know the Australian beef industry better than anyone. Having worked on beef cattle properties, obtaining meat inspectors certificate, working in the beef industry from Cairns to Tasmania, we know the best farmers to partner with, who have chosen regenerative farming with a conscious effort to protect the land and soils for the future generation of farmers.
Each farm has full certified organic accreditation and is audited by third party auditors to ensure complete compliance. Our farmers use no grains as part of their Beef Production plan, only native grasses, grown from the rich fertile flood plains of the Lake Eyre region in the Australian Outback.
Following our families many years of working in the Australian Outback and remote regional areas of Australia we have lived and experienced the difficulty sourcing quality pasture raised organs from regenerative beef cattle.
